    Slingshot

Anybody on here had any success or try to incorporate mark bells slingshot into their bench programming?

absolutely. if you have shoulder issues then its a life saver. I also use it to teach people proper bench press form , it really helps keep everything in line.

for experienced lifters it allows you to work with slightly heavier weights, which over time gets you comfy with that weight and improves confidence.

I used it for the first time and not only did it seem to make my form better, but i was able to do 10-15 percent more as a one rep max as advertised.

I would def recommend this to someone who needs work on form, or has an impingement or injury. I’m specifically trying to use it to break a 325 plateau I’ve been stuck at forever.

For anyone interest, as far as progressive overload goes its been fantastic. I can normally do 325 for a double. Hit two sets of 355 tonight for doubles.

Yeah me too, I’ve been told I have a punchable face. In reality, I don’t say shit to no one and am nice to everyone. In real life that is

GearHeaded nailed it ... and yeah i love it,for overloading reasons but more than anything it really helped with good steady form, couple sets with it on then take it off and the mind muscle connection is amazing for me without it !

I’m definitely considering getting one. I’ve seen people using them for far more than just bench as well. Steve Austin was a huge mark for it after his last shoulder surgery, using it to help with getting his overhead press back up to par.
