    Struggling to take a break

So I took a long time off from the gym, super long know that I'm back I'm going 6 or 7 days a week. My body feels hammered, but i feel fat or lazy or weak for taking a break or letting my body recover. Anybody else deal with that and any personal suggestions

The other thing I've struggled with is not being fit enough or strong enough or built enough no matter how much work I put in. Be interested to hear other people body perceptions and how they view things. Oh yeah and I decided Winstrol injections hurt like ...ya know pretty bad lol. Just different type of discussion I thought and other peoples experiences.

The day you decide to get bigger you will never be big enough. You can either settle or turn up the volume.

I am a squirrel as far as I am concerned.

Story of my life... I ALWAYS feel that way, and it's getting worse as I age. Often times it's hard for me to stay focused on just one goal because if I focus on strength I worry I'll get small(er). And if I I focus on size, I worry I'll get weak(er)... It's a death spiral either way.

So like obs said, you just choose to turn it up, whatever "it" is. Remember what CT Fletcher said, " obsession is a must for any champion".

You ONLY grow and recover while your resting, not in the gym. Without some breaks your gains will suffer.

Agree. I doubt you need to be in the gym 6-7 days a week.

I agree, I'm in my 50's and strength or size is harder to come by. Just need to train harder I guess.

I'm in my late 50's and finally am comfortable with my body image. I was just a skinny skinny kid and graduated from high school weighing less than 130lbs and from college at 140lbs. I'm probably the biggest I've been in my life in my avatar. We all know that "big" is a mental/emotional thing and not really a size thing. At a certain point, we have to come to grips with our body image and be satisfied with it. Now I'm concentrating on being lean and cut over being huge. I get more kudo's from being cut than I ever ido from being big. BTW, I'm a little over 200lbs.

Damn Scotch you look great. I'm still the skinny guy I was in high school looking to add a little size and look trim and ripped.

I'm cruising with 150mg/wk Test (TRT dose) + 100mg/wk Mast E. That combo is awesome at keeping me lean and tight. I blast with 350mg/wk of Test + 100mg/wk Tren + 300mg/wk Mast. Really a great combo to put on some lean muscles. Take it slow. Your body has a natural balance and if you gain too much size at once, your body will try to go back to "normal" as soon as it can. It took me about 5 or 6 years to gain and hold onto 30lbs of muscles. Now my body's "natural" weight is near 200lbs and I can maintain a lean look at that weight.

Nice, I'll start my own thread soon and hit you up for more info. Just want to take it slow like you say. Better to be patient and healthy.
