    Beginners' gain and weight gain

    how long does beginners' gain really last? I read about it and different ppl say different things. Also what would be the rate of weight gaining if I am clean bulking with 700 kcal surplus? It has been 5 to 6 weeks and I gained 5 lbs with approximately the same body fat %. Is that good?

    You didn't gain 5lbs of muscle in 5-6 weeks sorry to say.......beginners will gain muscle faster but not at the rate of 1-2lbs of muscle a week. If you gain 1-2lbs a month naturally, thats good.

    Its all genetic dependant... Just keep going and see what happens.
