Starting first cycle, should I change training or add more time ?

I usually workout about an hour an a half. Starting first cycle, should I be spending more time working out ?

    Mon/Thursday

    Chest/triceps

    Tuesday/Friday

    Back/biceps

    Wednesday/Saturday

    Legs/Abs/Shoulders

    Sunday

    Rest.

What exercises do you usually do? Hour and a half seems a bit excessive when training each body part 2x per week. Decrease your rest periods, increase intensity.

    As in go heavy ?

I tried it last time and didn't workout well. I was not getting anywhere. Although I made more progress when I was doing 3 times a week and rest were cardio days . So my questions is when on my first cycle what should I be looking at ?

If lifting 3x per week worked well for you in the past. Do that. Don't worry too much about the "lean bulk". Just bulk up, cut later. Although most on here would say 18% bf is a little high to be cycling...

cut down to about 15% or less first before cycling without using drugs, it won't take long.. intermittent fasting works for me, eat less move more.

I'm just going to throw this plan out there because it's pretty universal for everyone. I like to do a routine like this for about 6-8 weeks, then switch it up a little bit for another 6-8.

    Monday- arms(biceps/triceps)
    Tuesday- legs
    Wednesday- shoulders
    Thursday-back
    Friday- chest

I typically take wednesdays and the weekends off, but I hit every muscle group once a week. Some weeks I'll throw in a second arm workout, but its strictly lighter weight, more reps. Use as much intensity as you can! That's key. There is no reason you need to spend more than an hour training. I'm in and out in 30 minutes on most days.

At 18% bf, cycling, and want to get lean? I would change the workout to lifting one day and plyometrics the next day. You need to keep your heart rate up high enough throughout your workout so you can burn the calories through both cardio + anabolic systems. This is a more efficient way to burn fat.

I look exactly like my avatar and I combine plyo with every workout. My goal is to look lean and tight and not be a strength monster power lifter.
