5x5 for Olympic wrestling?
Been doing 5x5 routine 3x week and alternating workout weekly as you should.
About to add sprints 2-3 X week.
Just wondering if anybody has done this routine for wrestling or MMA? I'm heavyweight by the way but any Olympic wrestling routines would be appreciated too?

For MMA I have guys do moderate weights with more reps. I am afraid that heavy weight might cause injury. The way I see MMA and wrestling is "functional" strength which to me is medium weight over more reps for endurance and total body workouts, like sledge hammering tires and battle ropes. I do 5x5's when I'm on a bulking phase for bodybuilding competition. I must say, it's super fun to lift really heavy weights.
