Problem with cycle, decreased workout performance and knees

    Hey guys

So I am about 11 weeks into a pretty intense cycle. The first 10 weeks have been amazing, super motivated and excited to go to the gym and when I get there I am just a beast during the workout.

Workout has been 5-6 days a week with high reps and low weight with very little rest in between sets. Point of this is that I am cutting and trying to keep HR up during whole workout. 4-5 days are dedicated to weights, working 2-3 muscle groups a day (i.e. push/pull), and 1 day devoted to cardio.

My problem now that just started this week is that the last 4 workouts I have been extremely sore all over, to the point where I am barely able to get in all my sets. I also have lost that gung-ho attitude. I.E. instead of sitting down on the bench and mentality thinking, damn I am going to kill this bench today; I am sitting down on the bench and mentality thinking damn I hope I get through all these sets on bench today.

So I guess A. Why am I so sore to the point of not being able to perform? What should I do?
    B. Why I am getting this lethargic (not sure it's the right adjective) tude? What should I do?

    C. I also have been getting some pain in my knees. I don't take any AI's so it can't be due to low estrogen. The pain occurs when I am standing up. Any thoughts on reasons and possible remedies?

    Currently on
    Sust 400mg/wk
    NPP 350mg/wk
    Mast 400mg/wk
    EQ 400mg/wk
    Anavar 50mg/ed
    T3 50mcg/ed
    Clen 60mcg/ed

its time for a deload.. this should be programmed in every 8-10 weeks anyways . no you've gotten to a point where you have to force a deload in anyway.

so take the next 10 days and cut your weight training volume in half . get in and out of the gym in 30 mins. do just light weight pump based exercise NOT anywhere close to failure. you can stay on the cardio. after that 10 days you'll be back and ready to hit it hard again .

Reduce weight before you injure yourself and throw all the progress out the window.

If you intend to cycle in the future you need better organization of training. This time you got lucky with no injury - next time you may not.

I think of my lifting time as time to build muscle. You seem to have your workouts act more like cardio with high volume and short breaks. I wouldn't do this. If you are trying to lose weight use the gym time to build muscle (take the rest you need to push hard on your next set) and do cardio to lose the weight. Just something to consider after your deload.

What the heck are you talking about with injury? In no way shape or form did I even come close to injury, just consent soreness for a brief time. When you say reduce the weight? For example, I am doing 5 sets of 15 at 135lbs with 6th being a drop set at 50% on bench and similar set ups on the rest of my workouts. I am in no way shape or form at a weight where I would injure myself.

And actually the training regimen I have been doing has 90% accomplished my goal. Got rid of my excess fat while keeping most muscle. What I have been doing has been working for me to accomplish my goal so far with absolutely no injuries.

Also, did you bother to ask what I have planned in the future with this cycle? IMO I find this comment condescending and your attitude a little alarming. Guess I need to add in some Tryacin.

So.... Historically Windex has had a history w such comments. He has been pretty good for longer than you've been a member lately though (I say this because sometimes people can read things and take it a different way because of a preconceived notion of the person).
But, I think he just means if you're knees get sore, something may be wrong, and if you keep training that way, train through it before letting it heal 100%, up the weight, etc. you could get injured.
No need to get upset in this one brother. Just read it at face value and you may see there is no condescension intended

I apologize Windex. I'm a juiced up meat head and I let my temper get the best of me.
