Squat in some form almost everyday works for me. Overhead, front, back, snatch, cleans and so on.

Tempo and pause squats are great for added strength.

Stan Efferding's video on YouTube helped me a lot recently.
There are some good videos on mark bells page too.

Overhead squats are great for improving stability and form

just run a basic 5x5 program for squats....
    don't cheat depth ever...
only preform good clean reps with good speed

    eat more food....

do hack squats after for some extra volume if you find you need it....

personally I would rather squat more frequently rather than add a bunch of accessory volume...
for example... squat every 4 days

forced reps and grinders are not the key to strength... good quality reps done again and again are the key
    Cuz likes this.

Warm up properly. Like a powerlifter does. Do just enough to be warmed up and avoid injury while saving all your energy for your goal set. Don't waste effort on extra reps with warm up sets. One of the biggest mistakes guys make.

Ha forgot I even wrote this. This was before my goal of 500 just shows I'm doing for more than just my ego.
