    rep range ?

    idea rep range for putting on muscle mass and bulk !

    1. 4-6 reps
    2. 6-8 reps
    3. 8-10 reps
    4. 10-12 reps

    9-12 is optimal for hypertrophy. regardless, to put on mass you still nead to eat calories over maintenance

    I agree with GP, 8-12 if your goal is hypertrophy.

    hypertrophy is how you put muscle on your body so thats what i want i dont care about how strong i am or putting up alot of weight in the gym ! id rather pack on as much muscle as i can !

    I ussually do low reps with as much weight as I can but I also do high reps with as much as I can sometimes to shock my muscles.

    that is sorta what i do too...... i switch it up every other workout...... heavy w/ lower reps ......then lighter w/higher reps the next time i hit that muscle group......(IMO) you can get bigger and bring out the detail in the mucsle aswell.... good luck
