There were countless lines overlapping each other across my whole chest, and to top it off there was a big vein sticking out and all of those little viens all over.

To ripped.
Lowering one's body fat real low for long periods does have it's medical disadvantages, but that mostly only holds true for females. Low body fat can effect certain hormonal patterns in your body as well. I guess the only real problem that I have had in the past with my body fat being REAL low was how it made me feel. If you are not experiencing any difficulty with this why change. Now I know that I may catch hell for saying this, as it really is not pratical for most to bulk up and cutt at the same time. BUT I could never see why one would bulk up and increase thier body fat to such high levels only to have to work it off in a cutting cycle. I have bulked up in the past while at the same time keep my body fat at a fairly respectable level. If bulking is your goal now, remember that it does not neccessailry have to mean gaining excess body fat as well.

yes
u make an extremely good point.
today when i was looking at myself in the mirror at the gym
i realized that even though it does look real sick with all the veins it also looks really cool.. i want to try bulking up but at the same time do what you said and try to stay ripped, it does help havin a fast metabolism too.

I have to totally agree with Tobey. There is no need to add fat while bulking. If you eat clean, you can just up your calories and stay relatively lean. Cutting is no fun! Even when I'm bulking, bodyfat stays around 8%.
