    Undulating Loads

Instead of doing the same number of repetitions per set, and allowing your body to adapt undulating loads is designed to build strength and send you to a higher weight class. Well, suppossedly.

Let's say you normally do sets of 10 with 155lbs when you bench press, and your max on bench is 210lbs.

Undulating loads works like this: The workout you chose is the only exercise you will do for that muscle group (unless on AS and recovery and aggression allow you to).

    set 1 reps 8 weight 170lbs
    set 2 reps 3 weight 195lbs
    set 3 reps 5 weight 180lbs
    set 4 reps 2 weight 210lbs
    set 5 reps 4 weight 210lbs
    set 6 reps 1 weight 215-220lbs

Obviously a good warm up routine is necessary prior to starting the exercise, and notice that the last set is higher than the max.

I have not done these undulating loads. This is from an article I read, and am sure to try once a month on my bench and squats.

If anyone has done these, or know more about them, add to the thread.

It's basically just pyramiding up using failure for the most part.

Yeah, but the reps change, and you go up and down with weight, so....

Anyway... you ever try it KeyMastur?
