Here's my problem...when I work tris my long head seems to take over regardless of what I have tried. The lateral head always seems to get the short end of the stick. The medial head looks nice and the long head is just huge. Is there something or some exercice that will hit the lateral head more and take some of the focus of the long head.
Hell the long head gets hit very hard on chest and shoulder days also...so I could probably go to an all out attack on the lateral head on tri day...any help would be very helpful.
Some of the exercises I do for tris arenormally 3 from this list)
close-grip bench
lying tricep ext.
seated tricep ext.(camber bar or dumbell/sometimes one arm)
dips(some times weighted)
cable pushdowns(sometimes w/reverse-grip)
kickbacks(cable or dumbells)
California presses(half lying tricep ext./half closegrip bench in one movement)
I do mix my workouts up a lot....I have even focused on the mind/muscle conn. for the lateral head, but when it gets tough the long head just takes over...If I have left out any needed info please let me know.
