    5g of creatine

    I asked this on the supplement board but I'll ask it here as well so I can get your opinions as well.

    I am currently taking an effervescent creatine that includes 5g of creatine and 5g of glutamine with every serving(1 scoop). The can recommends taking only 1 serving a day. The serving only contains 1g of sugar.

    My question, is taking only 5 g of creatine a day enough to get good results from creatine. I will be taking it everday before I lift without cycling.

    how much do you weight? over 190.. id bump it to 10 grams.. under 5 is fine.. but you need more glutamine than 5 a day.

    I weigh 205. I also take multivitamins, glucosamine, BCAA's, protein shake, and I am taking 10g of glutamine as well in addition to the 5g that's in the creatine (15g of glutamine total)

    Yeah definitely go 10g's a day. Did you do the loading phase?

    I think the loading phase is totally unnecessary imho.

    because you can only absorb so much.. and taking it for an extended period of time like 3 months.. 1 week of loading doesnt make a differance.. also saves on the creatine

    agreed 100% ,.... just do as bigol`legs has said it will be the same in the end ...and cheaper for you aswell
