    deadlift form

    when yall do dead lifts does the bar hit the tops of yalls knees and shins? or is my form fu*ked up?

    the bar should not be hitting the top of your knees it means you are rolling the bar out in front of you on the way back down. Keep it one motion up and down.

    yes your shins should be bloody and bruised after a good deadlift workout

    yup skinned shins, the bar should leave contact with your legs at any
    point.

    So the bar should hit your shins but not your knees?

    If the bar is going to hit somewhere, it should hit your shins, and not your knees...

    I like to use a cambered bar as it's more comfortable to me and I never plan on competing or anything. Here's a pic.

    Hehe...my buddy can't do deadlifts period with a straight bar...he uses a trap bar..you know the one that you stand inside...I just laugh at his traplifts...I'm like...you the man...<<thumbs down>>
