Is there really a difference? I never paid more than like $4.99 for mine from either Sports Authority, Champs, etc...

I use mine for shrugs and such with like 150lb dumbells... and I've never had them rip....

Just my opinion... I mean are they reallyy made that different?

Depends...........some are made with durable cloth like canvas and some are made of nylon. If all you are lifting are DB's I'm sure any one of them will work but if you're lifting serious pounds, 800 lbs for DL's or Farmer Walks, then they might not hold, who knows.

I didn't know there was a difference. I know they come in different lengths. Maybe you had a defective pair.

I just buy regular straps, I think they're like some form of nylon, they were cheap, but there hasn't been a weight yet that I couldn't pick up with them, they're wearing out and slowly tearing but I've had them forever, have gotten my money's worth

I have my old school suede leather ones i love these things wish i could find em nobody has em. Had em for 2 years now and there still good stretched a bit but not ripped at all and so comfortable. straps are straps, cheap and strong, its not a beauty contest. who cares if they are nice, they will look dirty and ****ty if you are doing the right thing.
