I do,were not allowed to use chalk in my gym,so it helps with my grip on heavy lifts.

No gloves, no straps, just chalk. The reason being is that I wanna work my grip, and using gloves and strap wont get me a better grip.

Never have and never will. Don't like how it makes my hands hot and I find that I can't grip with them.

no gloves, no straps, no belt, no wraps. No chalk, but only because it's not allowed and i've been fined for it before.

I wear a special neoprene that just covers the palm and wraps around two of the fingers. Not hot and provides more cussion than gloves when doing heavy benches.

I have worn them but I stopped using them last year to help work on my grip. Now all I use is chalk. Straps I have but I only break them out when I finish off my trap work with Farmer Walks.

If you want to improve your grip even more you can do deads and shrugs without chalk,(or gloves or straps), but that's the only time I ever rip off callouses.

I use them here and ther to take it easy on my hands. Also, they provide a little wrist support. I'd say I rotate almost every week.

i wear em once my callouses start bleeding hehe.
As for straps i could care less about grip strength as long as my traps keep growing . if i feel my deadlifts etc are being effected by weak grip strenght ill lift without em for a while.

I wear them on a few of my lifts. On some things I feel like the bar doesn't slip around as much and that I have better control of the weight. Still have callouses, still have good grip.
peace,

I found some nice bike riding gloves. half finger with padding on the palms. Helps when benching with heavy weights since the bar tends to dig into my bone. Sometimes during heavy curls.
