lately as i've really been really targeting my legs, i'm afraid to go running on my off-days, because i feel its delaying the recovery time in between my leg days. any feedback/recommendations?

by the way i work my legs twice a week:
squats
hack squats
hamstring curls
weighted calf raises
and i would potentially like to get back to running 3-5 miles every other day
as long as you dont go runnig the day after leg day.....which should be **** near impossible if you are hitting your legs hard
Any amount of mid-high intensity running will effect your recovery time. It all just depends upon your goals. If your cardio fitness is important to you, I would suggest working legs less often in order to recover fully.
well cardio fitness has always been a priority for me, but the past few months my upper body is really starting to become disporportionate to my legs. i guess its just a matter of what is more important to me then, size or cardio. thanks for the feedback fellas.
You could do this:
Swap in a sprint or sled pull workout every other week for your weightroom leg workout. I actually get some pretty good hypertrophy from high intensity, short duration sprinting. You will still get a good cardio workout so long as you keep your intervals short.
