oh, since you didn't mention reasons I thought you were implying some type of kama sutra thing or something...
I've tried yoga and I can't even do the most basic stuff. I've grown so fast and never stretched, so now I am the most unflexible person I know...I have to push my legs hard to get my shoes on sometimes...I need yoga for old people or something
lol   :lol:Quote:

Yoga is the reason why I can lift again. I still do it 3 times a week. After a bad car accident and 3 herniated disks a little over a year ago, my chiropractor suggested it and took the class with me. He would adjust me after class and I have recovered 95% and that is as good as it will get. I avoided the surgery as well thanks to yoga. I may very well do yoga for the rest of my life. I kept a great deal of tone during my year off from lifting while recovering. Since I also had some personal probs I lost about 50 lbs. Had it not been for yoga I would have been a mess physically. Now that I am lifting again I notice that yoga really improves blood flow to your muscles. After a nice workout you take a yoga class and your muscles get full of blood and pumped. I feel the pump lasts much much longer if you do this. I try to schedule my workouts so I can take a yoga class right after and it is the best feeling in the world.
Your inflexibility is the biggest reason why you SHOULD take yoga. You would be surprised what the increase in blood flow will do for you growth goals.Quote:
