How does Test protect you from Deca dick?

Ive been reading up on deca dick and I don't understand how stacking test with deca protects you from deca dick. Also what keeps deca dick from setting in after your test stacked cycle?

Since you have stopped the synthetic test and you begin therapy to restart the production of your own testosterone, what keeps the deca from effecting you then?

I have read on the board about guys who do deca only cycles and then have deca dick for months or even a year after the cycle. Is their an average time length that you will suffer from deca dick or is it highly dependent on the individuals unique biochemistry?

deca dink is a symptom of your own test shutting down with nothing to compensate.

If you take test, you can still do your business because it is compensating for the deca.

As for months or years after a cycle, thats strictly due to PCT... take your clomid when you're done and nothing, not even the deca, will give you any probs.

All you're doing is replacing your natural testosterone (which has been shut-down due to high levels of androgens) with an outside source. Testosterone and dihydrotestosterone are vital to getting an erection and libido.

OK I get it deca shuts you down the test brings you back up and the PCT recovers your natural testosterone levels.

20mg of Nolva and 0.25mg of Arimidex are good additions to PCT, as well.

I was told that the reason deca di_k happens is because your body switches over to nor testosterone while on deca because there is no regular test, but lots of nor test. after your cycle ends, your body continues to use nor test instead of regular test, even after you have taken your clomid and raised your test levels back to normal. nor test is present in your body normally, but in very small amounts which are insufficient in sustaining normal sexual functions like becoming aroused. when you run test with deca (which is nor test), your body continues to use testosterone as its primary sexual hormone, so there is no problem once you finish your cycle. im sure everyone is different, but in my case ive stopped the deca exactly when i stopped the test and not gotten deca di_k after that.

Deca hits the progestin-recepter as well. High progestin levles in guys will kill libodo. This can also result in bloating and gyno. Test will not block this, winstrol might!

yea thats true, deca has some very strong estrogenic properties. anyone prone to gyno should not use deca.

This link to a post in the EDU forum helped me a good bit.

It talks alot about the progesterone created from the use of deca. It doesn't really get into the nor-test issue but it does talk alot about how deca does not aromatase into estrogen.

Not true. Nandrolone aromatizes at about the 20% the rate of testosterone. So estrogenic side effects are not a major concern.
