test e vs prop???

Maybe some of you guys could shed some light on this....My understanding is test is test no matter the ester? That just changes the amount of injections..So my question is if you took 1000 mg wk of test e (500mg 2x wk.)......If you were to use prop in next cycle, would i assume u need 1000mg of prop a wk atleast to further gains....I have been told 100mg ed (700mg wk) would bring better results as prop is more potent, but that is 300mg a wk less........I am a little confused on this because as i said i was under the impression that test is test no matter what kind, thus you should increase the amount each cycle or atleast the same amount.....

Wanted to add i understand you use the prop as a jump start and then introduce say test e but i am interested in a heads up comparison and could you run prop all the way thru a cycle?

good ? cause i'd like to know also, regarding if one should increase their dosage each cycle or stay the same..

sometimes more isnt always better....there are some huge guys out there that dont even take a gram of test a week. before u up the dosage every cycle why not try addin other compunds. u prob will see the results your lookin for....

The mg amount includes the esters weight. Test cyp and e have very heavy esters, while prop is rather light, and suspensions is non-existent. So subtracting the ester's weight you can see that test cyp would yield less actual testosterone than test prop would. This isnt a problem at all, and can be easily overcome with dosage adjustments anyway. Test is test, but the ester & injection frequency determines how it will build up in your blood. Suspension, for example, causes a very rapid increase in test levels and much is converted to estradiol. Prop is rather nice in this regard, as not as much is converted to estradiol, hence its recommendation for cutting.

Another factor to consider is the half-life difference. With say a 10-14 day half-life, test E @ 500mg/week is more like 500mg over TWO weeks, or 50mg/day.Of course with continued bi-weekly injections, accumulation will occur, thus raising your "daily" blood levels. Hence, the phenomenon of test E taking 5-6 weeks to kick in. However with the 3 or so day half-life of the prop ester, 100mg ED probably IS close to 700mg per week. Therefore, as I understand it, 100mg ED of prop is will give you higher test blood levels than 500mg x2 of enanth per week (in the short term, at least). As accumulation occurs, things start to equal out. Just my thoughts.
