Question about a HPTA SHUTDOWN

other than the blooodwork...

what are "other" signs can point to ur hpta being shutdown


i guess what i mean is,,,can u still ejaculate


like if i masturbate or get a bj, my penis isnt fully hard...its like a semi hard on..

i can still shoot aload

but the semen kind of dribbles out and my dick isnt rock hard as it was precycle

order clomid to help this..

but does this sound like HPTA shutdown related....

my test is rising with each bloooodwork but still far from where it was....


my prolactin is also not an issue...cme back less than 1

just need to know this:

what is your cycle history?

how long has it been since your last cycle?

what was your pct on the last cycle you did?

have you had problems like this before?

And how old are you?

If you did a proper PCT after your last cycle, it sounds like your body's not "back" yet. Just because you do PCT doesn't mean you're back to normal. It may take many months after PCT for your body to come back to normal. Give it some time.

5 10...196

doin gear on and off for past 5 years...usually cyp and deca with nolva as pct..never an issue

in august...did 10 weeeks of sust and tren with dostinex to combat any prolactin sides............then nolva and aramasiin as pct

my pct obviously wasnt strong enough/


my test went from 300 to 520 over past 5 months since my last pin

but my erections are ONLY when i wake up and not that stiff..im NEVER horney,etc


cant get hard on ANY porn which is UNLIKE ME PRECYCLEl..lol

my endo said my body is recovring and its gonna take time


i just oredr some liquid clomid and am gonna start another aggressive pct using that

300 1st day

100 next two weeks
50 next two weeeks

im hoping it brings up my test and i start gettin my libido back

Either are possible. I know that when I ran an abnormally long cycle I pretty much convinced myself that I couldn't get it up because I was suppressed thus convincing myself I have no libido. However, when I got drunk one night and stopped thinking about it I was harder than ever. I'm just saying it's a possibility. It obviously is also possible that you are still shut down. You could always try running some HCG with nolva/clomid and see if that helps

at this point..just gonna run clomid n nolva

im afraid hcg may cause a rebound affect n mess me up more since its 5 months post cycle

My endo says, a good sign of a functioning HPTA is nocturnal/morning erections. These are subconscious erections unaffected by your mind. If you can´t get these erections when you are conscious, then you have psychological interference. An erection is produced from your body/heart/feelings, if you try to produce/ maintain an erection from your mind, u will ultimately fail, because your mind will be fearful of loosing it, which is called performance anxiety.

You have made several threads regarding the same subject(which is great, nowhere else can you ask such a q. and get tons of personal experiences while maintaining anonymity), and you sound desperate, understandably. So even if this was not caused by a psychological factor, it´s there now.
I know it´s hard, but you really should try to chill, and stop "thinking" so much about it. The natural processes are slow, and you need to give your system time to recover from the hormone havoc you created. Find some good books, sit back, relax, and give yourself a break. And as you have a shift in focus, you may discover there are other passions in a man´s life that are equally or more satisfying than sex :-))

FirstTimer 42...i def get what ur saying...and i would agree it was psycological f i couldnt get it up at all...but the problem is that my erections..even morning ones are not rock hard...
they are good enough to masturbate too....but penetration in a woman is difficault.........its almost like i get an 80% erection and it stops

im not sure if it is a blodflow isssuue or test isssue but its def not pyscological..

i just am guessing my test levels are 500 in the morning curently..which decresases throughout the day from what ive read

i may be someone who needs 800 or so to be fully horney and geta full erection etc...hopin some clomid will help

If u are in the US, look up Boston medical something.
They have a few branches.
They will during a 2 hour consultation/testing determine if u have any blood flow issues, or nerve damage, or any physical damage to your penis, preventing a full erection.
If these are eliminated, you will be left with 2 causes; Hormonal, which is the cause of only 10% of ED cases, and psychological.
I´ve been through the same as you, and it was nice to eliminate a few causes for the lack of libido/erection.

You could also do a slightly less effective test yourself, buy some viagra or cialis from ar-r and take a full dose...If you still can't get it up then with a full dose running through your veins...Then it's definitely psychological.
