how many calories per gram carb/protein/fats

hey

im working on my meal plan and
i saw somewhere the basic equivalency grams to calories for protein, carbs and fats

i used the formula in the bulking section and i calculated 3360kcal per day
i just need a rough estimate on how many calories there are per gram protein, and carbs (complex and clean carbs.. mostly oatmeal)


i couldve sworn ive seen some sort of equivalency around here on how many calories there are per gram carb and protein

1g protein = 4 kcal
1g carbs = 4 kcal
1g fat = 9 kcal

and I think 1g alcohol is 8 kcal.. but not positive on that one

isnt the general good diet considered 20% fat, 20% protein and 60% complex carbs?

is it true that if u have more than 30% of ur calories from fat that u will get fat

Another context question.

Here is why.

A CKD (designed to use fat for energy and cut fat quickly) is comprised of about 70% fat, and 30% protein.

Do you get fat from that? No, exactly the opposite.

40% carbs, 40% fat, 20% protein?
and 30%carbs, 50%fat, and 20% protein?

just going by the order you said "carbs fat protein," and wondering if thats what you meant by it

no i mixed it up... protein should be 40 or 50
