    Steroid suppository pills?

    Anyone ever heard of these? A guy at my gym showed me a bottle he recently got... he says you stick them up your ass and it gets absorbed there. And he said because it doesn't go through your stomach, it isn't liver toxic and it's basically the equivalent of injections, only you're not injecting it. How common is this stuff? I've never even heard of it or seen it before.

    Agreed, I think most people would still be a lot more comfortable with injections rather than intrarectum insertion.

    I did some research on this and it seems suppositories are more common for women, in which case it's a vaginal suppository...

    i don't know if AAS can be absorbed rectally, but a lot of meds can be taken rectally with a higher absorption rate than if taken orally. A lot of opiates / opiods are actually more effective rectally since they skip the first pass metabolism. And i know a lot of AAS are destroyed in this first pass metabolism, isnt that why we inject?

    Well, that's why I guess rectal suppositories of steroids are made, so that it's an alternative to injecting AS WELL as skipping the first pass metabolism. Though... i'd rather jab myself than stick a pill up my ass.

    im just saying, that rectally may actually be a efficient method, that is if one can get past giggling and be immature about it. If you were ever in a situation where you cant have pins, this may be a viable option. Also, rectally doesnt carry the risk of infection. Sticking something up your ass and sticking a needle in yourself are about equal in the societal taboo scale id say...
    And say it was more efficient, why not do it? youd save money, and it would take less time than IM. Plus if it skips first pass, you may save your liver a world of pain. unless its just too "gay"...
