Based on the post fight interview with Jones, I don't think he is going to ask for a rematch he's essentially been beaten twice by this guy and he doesn't enjoy fighting people in anything but the heavyweight class, He's going to move back up to heavyweight and fight again, he's not going to ask for a rematch. For those who watched it, did you all checkout the body comparison of him when he was a light heavyweight, heavyweight, then light heavyweight again, he was pretty jacked as a heavyweight.
One more heavyweight fight and then a bout against Tyson for some major $ and then Roy will call it a career - and a **** good career it's been.
Cmon you guys can't actually think that Jones fight wasnt rigged.........Boxing is so dirty now a days with King as the fuking devil himself........Why is it that the Klitchko fight was shown free on HBO but the Jones fight was PPV? cmon people..........they know if their is a third fight it will cash in like a mother****er..........mark my words their will be a third fight and then Jones will wipe the canvas with tarvers ass
Why would Jones take a dive? He is already worth like $400 million. You think he threw his legacy away for a few more?
I'd bet that was the hardest thing to convince him to do.....but yeah I think he took a dive...Theres no one else for him to fight..unless he goes back up to heavyweight........it just seemed unlike himself to be left open like that....I could be wrongQuote:

no way he took a dive, you gotta see the second round in its entirety. youd think it was a lucky punch but tarver couldnt have thrown a more perfect punch. the best part of the fight was when the ref asked them if they had any questions and tarver says, "yea i got a question, roy, you got any excuses tonight?" roy was straight scared, even said so after the fight
i hope jones finds god... cause dam tarver kicked his ass,,,,
i never thought i would see the day
You think he'll get his chance with Tyson after that fight?Quote:

You guys are talking like they have never fought before and Tarver was some unknown with no talent.Quote:

Their first fight went the distance and Jones won what some thought was a controversial decision, Tarver landed more effective punches than any other opponent Jones had ever faced and didn't let Jones's quickness and flashiness get to him. The scorecards were pretty close.
Jones doesn't want a rematch because I'm sure he realizes that indeed Tarver has pulled his card and soundly defeated him, and he doesn't see himself winning against Tarver anymore.
Tarver naturally has a problematic style for Roy, and Jones admits that.
Anyone can get a chance with Tyson. Hell, Tyson called me last night and offered to fight me for a McDonald's cheeseburger.Quote:

Tarver owned him in the first fight and he knocked him out in the second. I don't care what the scorecards said...a second round KO is a second round KO! Jones is not a "has been", he's a "never was" and he'll be a "never will be" if he doesn't take chances.Quote:

Excess, I read some previous posts you put up on boxing and I have respect for your opinions. Can you name a better boxer during Jones' career? Tyson? Holyfield? Lewis (bah ha ha)? DeLaHoya? Hopkins? Seriously, I think you have to go with RJJ.
