I am having a girl over tomorrow who I have hung out with twice and hooked up with sorta... no sex unfortunately. Anyways, was thinking of cooking dinner and getting a bottle of wine for the two of us in a hope of closing the deal. Any suggestions on what to make? I cook everyday, but the generic sh1t that we all cook, so my cooking skills are average, but wouldn't mind putting about 20-30 mins into something bomb.

Yeah, I was thinking of cooking filets in a reduced red wine sauce with some rice pilaf maybe? Seems like it would be at least mildly condusive to my cutting diet although some fancy chicken dish would be better. I guess it can just count as my cheat meal for the week...
I wouldn't cook the filets in a red wine sauce. Make the sauce separate and drizzle it over before eating. I cook it up like none other! I took some culinary classes a few years ago just because I enjoyed it so much but I never wanted to get into working in the industry because the pay isn't too well!Quote:
