A lot of the younger generation pew pew it, but I think The Exorcist is the greatest psychological horror of all time.
Other worthy mentions:
The Shining (Stanley Kubrick)
Event Horizon
The Thing (John Carpenter)
Im hearing a lot of good things about Paranormal Activity as well.

OMFG i watched that with my ex in the cinemas,
in that movie i just wished i could punch the lights outa those 3 bitches
honestly wtf, they pisssed me off
dum blonde bitch, married to a movie star, shes rich becuase of it, goes shopping everyday with his money, then goes and checks out the neighbour coz hers lifes not good enough, then the movie star proposes and gives her a multi million dollar ring
then the dumb bitch gets depressed coz her lifes not good enough and dumps the cuunt and takes his money and the RING
omfg dont get me started on the other 2, after that movie i hated women for 2 months
then i realised i was horny and began loving them again
