Thumbs up Diet based on your blood type

Went yesterday and saw a doc who is advising me to diet based on my blood type. Also by looking at the quality of the blood cells, she was able to tell me why i feel tired at times and also have shortness of breath. She also informed me my blood is to acidic and i need to the ph meds to ballance it. Also i learned for blood type b people they should stay away from chicken as the Chicken contains a Blood Type B agglutinating lectin in its muscle tissue, which attack the bloodstream and potentially lead to strokes and immune disorders. Type Bs thrive on deep-ocean fish, but should avoid all shellfish. The shellfish contain lectins that are disruptive to the Type B system. Anyone has extensive knowlege or experience with this i would luv to hear from you

I know there's a book called "Eat Right For Your Type". It explaines all the blood types and how to properly eat according to your blood type.

I can tell you right away a lot of this is BS. Your blood cannot be "too acidic". The body maintains its own PH internally. The PH of blood is always around 7.5. What you eat will not affect the acidity of your blood. The only thing in your body that has its PH affected directly by your diet is urine

That's why it so important to have a variegated diet, in order to raise the alkaline level when the acid foods will bring it eventually down negative.
I disagree we should get rid of some foods, just know the proper way to balance our diet to keep a steady and positive level of PH.

Those two articles are junk. They don't reference any peer reviewed medical or science journals. The second one talks about some "secret" Asian key to longevity. Not credible.

Also...just so I don't sound like a dick. That alleged "expert" Andy Long has no clue what he's talking about, and it's evident he doesn't really have a clue about physiology based on the shit he wrote.

I searched "Food+blood pH" on PubMed and didn't come up with anything even close to what the authors were suggesting. No clue what his doctor was talking about unless he went to a homeopathic "doctor" and not a real medical professional allopathic/osteopathic.

However, in normal healthy adults this is irrelevant and foods will not cause any more or less uric acid to enter parts of the body if your kidneys are functioning properly.

In response to the article about acidosis. Again, the only time you will experience this is if you have some sort of disease or injury which would cause this condition. Diabetic Keto Acidosis is one example, where the body has no glucose to use for fuel, so it in turn uses protein as fuel, which create a byproduct of ketones in the blood stream. Again though, in normally functioning adults these are non issues.

I dont have a clue what he is talking about. Not only is food buffered in the GI track, the bicarbonate buffering system of the blood is extremely effective at regulating the Blood pH. Exercise would have a much more pronounced effect on blood pH than eating a normal diet would have IMO.
