I have a degree in interior design but I mostly build things..which leads me to wanting to study rendering more than I do now cuz its more like a part time hobbie.. techniques as in putting ideas into images, using a variety of colors and textures to portray a complete and comprehensive image.

It is, by far, the most bizarre, misunderstood tragedy in the world, IMO. I hope that none of you ever encounter it, the way that I have. (indirectly, btw)

I would have loved to this day to be a an astrophysicist, In undergrad I worked under a guy that was at on time part of the Mars Project (now canceled) before he got into astrobiology and looking for life in the most extreme environments on earth. I just so happened to have a better mind at figuring out how not to kill rare samples of extremophilic Archaea better than most. Maybe a few percent of the samples could be grown.

However my lab along with many others may have classified potentially many many primitive organisms that some circles in science consider the first forms of life. Earlier than even bacteria. I say potentially because it will takes years of genetic assays and phylogenetic study to determine evolutionary lineages. And of course more deep sea thermal vent samples and other extreme environments that may have mimicked early conditions on earth when life was first forming.

There is this scientist Russell H. Vreeland, who developed a method of extracting ancient bacteria in salt crystal that dried up in salt lake beds or ancient oceans and left small pockets of water where bacteria were trapped and basically went into suspended animation for 250 million years. He actually extracted them and brought them back to life. This was a very big deal. As his findings were published in Nature. The Organisms according to genetic testing were of no know species today.

If I could express the amount of real science that NASA and the likes are engaged in. Not a sole on the planet would think twice about increasing science funding 100 to a 1000 fold.

Sorry Guys I am a huge Science dork. I could write about this all night. Peace...
