What Would You Guys Do?

So basically, I get a call from my friends last night asking me to come out to a bar with them and hang out. They're with their wives and I'm with mine at home so I said sure. Well... The wife was having a bad day as far as choosing which clothes to wear so I ended up just saying screw it because we've had a busy couple days and it would be fine just relaxing at home.
I get into work today and find out that they had gotten jumped. Some guy was staring at them the entire time and when they left he came out and stared at them some more. One of my friend's finally asked the guy what he wanted. The guy charged him and my other friend tried to restrain the guy but he turned around and punched him. Then three of his friends jumped in. So it was 4 on 3, and they caught my buds by surprise.
I'm still getting the details but one of the guys apparently was chewing on my friend's ear while they were wrestling on the floor? I mean, wtf? I'm super pissed now I didn't go out, I could have helped shifted the outcome of this bullshit.
Have any of you guys ever been in a situation like this? I want to go out next week in force with some friends to that same bar and hopefully come across that piece of shit...

To be far mate I've been in more fights than I care to remrber and have been in the same position as u are right now we went back mob handed trouble was these guys came back wth even more well we went at it still we faired okay but I came out of it with my jaw broken both sides after a lump of wood to the head one got stabed and so on guess what I'm saying is my experience would to let it lay not go looking for it but if it happens when your there stomp there ****ing heads till they stop moving!

my buddy went bar hopping about a year ago, got jumped, knocked out.... while he was telling me with his buddy, who was also there, and unscathed, i'm like.... so where were YOU when all this went down?
Evidently, this other dude isn't very big or much of a fighter.

Get some friends together and all go back to that bar. Split up in the bar in two groups with the original friends in one group. Make it look like you dont know each other. When the a$$holes show up they wont know how many of you there are and if they have numbers in their favor they will probably start another fight. When shit is going down both groups unite and attack. This is one way you could do it.
