Biggest idiots, conditioning coaches or players?

    http://hawkcentral.com/2011/01/26/do...habdomyolysis/

I thought this sort of insanity went out years ago. And the players were fools to
continue. Betcha somebody will be looking for a job!

(I recall something similar some years back. The Olympic rowing teams were trained just south of Washington, DC. First day in the coach made each one
do 600 one leg squats, body weight. Where do they find these goofy mother****ers?) Some, including those selected for the finals, could hardly move
    for day.

Coaches are idiots, players put their trust in them. Its their responsibility to look after them, they were just giving their all.

I agree, the players are highly motivated and subject to coaching insanity.

Remeber when players would die in the heat because coaches didn't have the common sense to pay attention to the heat index? Same thing going on here.

Definitely the coaches without question, they are in a position of authority. They are ultimately responsible, not the kids. I find this extremely disturbing. In 8 years of working with athletes at all levels and all types of sports, from power to endurance. I have never had an athlete get rhabdomyolysis. These were just some dip shit, meat head coaches that believe in the pain is weakness leaving the body mantra. Stupidity, and something that should never happen.
