Only sit down if my legs are sore from a work out, then I find it difficult to stand back up.
Ive broke many a toilet seat with my legs ;)
Only in the morning...But, this is a suggestion that a doctor would tell you to do if you're having issues urinating. It worked for a friend of mine.

I do sort of a half sit/stand to unload my raging morning piss boner.
I prefer to piss in a static pushup position with my feet on the sink and hands on the bathtub

I don't care what you guys say, I sit down for everything. Well, unless I am in a public restroom where I think it is rude to take up a stall just so no one can see my p*nis.
My reason for doing this will probably seem lame. I work a lot, and sometimes the bathroom is the only place I have a chance to check up on news, forums, etc. I started sitting after dropping a Blackberry into a toilet full of pee while standing. No way I am losing an iPhone that way.
And no, I am not peeing right now.

I figured out a few years ago, there is noooo way a man can stand and pee, and not splash.
A very few deep european toilets it´s possible, but the American lake toilets......forget it.
No matter where u aim, a fine spray, droplets or whatever will splash back up from the toilet, spraying the toilet seat and the floor, where my daughter will sit next.
Since I realized this, I´ve been sitting, and I ask my friends to sit on my toilet.
I find it plain rude that a dude stands and pee in my toilet, expecting me to clean up his piss.
When I have parties, I restrict the use to 1 bathroom, and place a note on the wall opposite the toilet; "Thank you, friend"....lol.

the best bathroom i ever pissed in was in my buddies. it was perfect width to have my head hold me up, text with one had and aim with the other, all while being rather drunk...sheer bliss. dont ask how i managed that one but i enjoyed it.

After seeing the femi-nazi article and university in ?norway? about men peeing while sitting down and how this chick won't date a guy who pee's while standing up because it displays our superiority (lol what?), I make it a point to pee while standing. I also would shout men rule as I pee'd even though no one could hear me.
Unless dropping a load at the same time, hell no to squatting for a piss. However, sometimes I do piss into empty water bottles/gallons next to my bed when don't feel like getting up in the morning. That’s a whole another story though.
