Now I'm just the opposite. I had good range or motion from the get go; aggressive PT starting the day after surgery with a lot of stretching. The problem was for a long time I could not even bench the bar weight alone and it still takes quite a bit of warming up with LIGHT weights to get near a full ROM on the down stroke.
It is finally improving slowly but I have a long way to go for strength to get back nearly where it was 2 years ago.
