    Any canadians travel to mexico?

hope im posting in the right area.

Mexican pharmacies can make you feel like a kid in a candy store. Has any one brought anything back and declared it as personal?

Some people say you can bring it back, 90 day supply. Thats all it is though, is people saying..

i might take a trip later on in the year, just wondering

Not worth bringing it back. A ton of crappy over priced gear in most cases. Tons of good ugl domestic in Canada no point to bringing back gear.

You can't bring gear back to America through customs. If it were legal, everybody would do that. I'm guessing it'd be a "no no" in Canada too

Yeah you feel like a kid in a candy store until you walk out of the store and the federales are waiting for you to confiscate what you just bought and pressure you to pay a fine of several thousand dollars or spend some time in the local jail. Happens a lot more than you think...

I was told by the local Mexican police that I needed to pay a fine, or go to jail. They took me to the cell and when I saw it, I said, Ok I'll pay.

I gave money to a bum in TJ before (he wouldn't leave my friends and I alone until I did), less than a dollar's worth of change. A cop saw me do that and said that I was seen handing money to a known drug addict. Then he went so far as to accuse me and my friends of buying drugs from the bum. Had to pay $180 a person for our "fine." It involved going to the jail and waiting for a friend's dad to come there with the money to pay the "fines." They didn't even write down our names there. As far as anyone knew, we weren't on the books and could've just as easily disappeared.

I'd never go to Mexico again in my life. Even if you guys promised me all the free gear I could ever use.

Well this is an eye opening read. Even if you went to get a script from a local doctor would you get the same treatment?

Never been to TJ and I'm 7 mins from the boarder. Have absolutely no desire to go there.

Been to Cancun and Mexico City. Once was enough. I'd rather go to Japan, Thailand, or Taiwan.

Yeah, it's not worth it. Especially now with all the murders and kidnappings, it's asking for something bad to happen to you.

I'd like to go see Thailand though. From what Lovbyts and that Aussie dude, that lives there, both say, I might not leave if I do go there.

I have not been back to Mexico since my first trip to Thailand. It's sort of like frozen Pizza vs your favorite pizza establishment.

Speaking of Mexico City, that place is HUGE, spread out and the airport is crazy. At the airport you taxi for like 30 minutes in a straight line. Crazy long airport. You feel like you are on an interstate. Hmmm being Mexico I guess we could have been.

If it was not for my daughter (single dad) who was 15 here in the US I would not have come back and now my HAW wont let me go back. lol

I walked through customs with a friend, having
5 packs each of Viagra, they detained us for about 30 because out passports were stamped in Dubai.( we travel a lot) then they brough up the Viagra, and they said it was fine cus of personal use.
Lucky for me I have a lot of friends that are high class Mexicans so the few times I go nothing ever happens. It's crazy how that works, all they say is there last name and they just leave us alone.
