    AR Expression

Here is what I could successfully compile from immediate memory Kelkel.

    http://press.endocrine.org/doi/pdf/10.1210/edrv-9-2-181

Transcriptional regulation of androgen receptor gene expression in Sertoli cells and other cell types. - PubMed - NCBI

Androgenic up-regulation of androgen receptor cDNA expression in androgen-independent prostate cancer cells. - PubMed - NCBI

Transcriptional regulation of androgen receptor gene expression in Sertoli cells and other cell types. - PubMed - NCBI

My thoughts which are obviously stemmed from a textual basis and have very little correlation with the real world interactions just revolved around receptor saturation and its correlation with endocytosis. I'm still fairly novice in trying to understand the cellular actions and gene expressions that are associated with AAS usage.

Receptors for androgen-binding proteins: internalization and intracellular signalling. - PubMed - NCBI

If you can't access these studies in full text I got them in PDF from school and I'm sure I can figure out some way of providing them. Obviously not concrete data for anything, but it's where I draw some thoughts from. I'm sure you can stab some holes in my logic and I am always up to learning! No direct citation because I really can't find anything that directly correlates to what these people are doing to themselves. I can find lots of studies correlating myocardium alterations from AAS usage.

You won't find much real world research as it's locked up and not on pubmed. Most AAS was developed and researched in the 50's and 60's by government scientist on both sides of the Cold War. The AAS arms race was played out on the Olympic battlefields. Sometimes someone on here will pop an East German or Russian study, I'm not sure where they find them. And I can't read Russian lol That one dude Anthony Roberts use to find stuff all the time. He was a journalist or something.

I had to get a paper translated last week from school. It was adiponectin's role in mitigation of cardiovascular disease, but it was in Portuguese...

    The translations make noooo sense.

I haven't really tried to really dig through the library at all, but I might take on that challenge here in the next few weeks in my free time. Maybe I can stumble upon something of value?
