High RBC question

So my RBC, Hemoglobin, HCT, we're high last blood check. I donated blood.... but now that I donated to I need to be watching what I eat with high iron? Steak, oatmeal, etc....

debatable but i feel diet impacts RBC. for example i do not eat meat (or fish) at all and havent had high RBC (or atleast not very far out of range to make big concern. nore have i ever donated blood or drained it myself.
I feel it could be genetics along with diet, not just the compounds used.
but again just theory based on personal exp.

Not yet just donated yestarday, going to get bloods in 2 weeks

I dont think RBC are connected directly to the bodies ironstore.
Only if the store is too empty.
