I thought a guy was trying to break into/damage my wifes car... funny outcome

I live in a neighborhood with a visitor parking spot next to where my wife parks her car. My wife was in the kitchen looking out the window and noticed somebody parked next to her. She asked me to come to the window because she thought it looked like the guy was trying to do something to her car. I watched him for a couple seconds and it seemed like he was bending over next to the car, possibly messing with a tire. I don't take kindly to people messing with my property or upsetting my wife.

I bolted out the door and when I got close to the guy... he had a suitcase on the ground and he was just sorting through some stuff. When he looked at me he looked at me like he had just seen a ghost and said, "I'm so sorry sir!"

I said no worries and walked away. When I walked back inside and told my wife what happened she started laughing hysterically. She said, "You should have seen his face when he saw you coming!"

Admittedly I wasn't planning to have a conversation with the guy if I found him messing with her car. I do feel a little bad about it now. On the bright side nobody was hurt and laughs were had.

Lol! Great story, everytfime I get mad and am ready to beat someones ass I wind up looking like a complete dbag. I chewed the ass off a store clerk for interrupting a mans dinner and making him move his vehicle when he had no right (thats extremely rude how I was raised).
Anyway, turns out the store clerk was in stage four cancer. He is dead now... about a month or two after.
