Why do some people on social media hate when you post lifting pics/videos?
So I don't usually post much on my social media but recently I have put a few pictures/videos up and a lot of people (people I actually know personally etc.) hate it, it's like they almost take offense to it?
I posted a video last night and put it up online for everyone to see, and I had 3 people remove me from social media and 1 person even messaged me and said I was a "tool" LOL. I see people posting selfies and other pics/videos of dumb shit all the time, whats wrong with me putting up a video of myself lifting weights?
I dedicate a ton of my time and life to lifting and diet and of course I want to show off my hard work to everyone, but now I feel like an asshole or something lol.
The second part of my post was a picture of my dog after he got a racoon the other night and it only had 16 views, while the first one of my lifting got over 40 views. So that means they started watching the 8 second vid of me lifting and closed it before it finished and didnt make it to the picture of my dog that came next. That's a lot of people that got angry or disliked my video of lifting so much that they didn't even care to see what came next but took the time to click and view it in the first place?! Wtf? I'm trying to let these chicks know that I lift and Im in shape but its backfiring on me LOL. I don't get itLast edited by Dj Screw; 06-29-2017 at 12:23 PM.

Suppose its like wearing clothing to suit your muscles... 'what a dickhead'... girls wear clothes to 'promote' their body type... but when guys do it its attention seeking.
Girls get flak sometimes for showing too much skin but as far as bodybuilding i guess ita just intimidating and jealousy

Of course they don't like it. You're not a fat slob like they are. I was out socially a few weeks ago wearing a T shirt (nothing excessively tight) and a skinny older guy commented that I better be careful with all the "juice" I was using. I looked down at him, shook my head and turned away. I contemplated asking him how his aids therapy was going as he was so small and skinny, but what's the point in embarrassing him in front of his girlfriend. Or maybe that was the point?
It's their insecurities, not ours.

Similar to posting a picture of your large house, nice car, jewelry lake house, etc. It makes people insecure deep down at the most fundamental level. They know that they look like shit but they always hear "6 weeks from being lean" according to TV but even the most ignorant fat fuckers know this is not true and they will despise you for the years you put in to your body.
Most women I know say Arnold Schwarzenegger is too big he is gross but as soon as he is on TV with his shirt off their eyes are glued. The eyes rarely lie. I bet some of the people who unfriended you were staring longer and harder than the ones that are still your friends. Insecurities.

I was slightly drunk a few years ago when I was actually in shape. Someone said something along those lines to me. Normally I laught it off but it was around a large group and put me on that spot. I reached out, flipped his man titties and said , ah you have bitch tits. How cute...

I had a couple of my friends give me crap this weekend at a party because my shirt was tight and I was showing off.
I told them at least I fill out the top half of my shirt and not the bottom half like they do.
A good friend reminded me that steroids are illegal and told him the way he looks donuts should be too.
