Ben Shapiro of the Daily Wire is set to speak at Berkeley. After all the fan fair of him not being allowed to speak last year. A new Chancellor who promises to keep free speech on campus alive and a tougher stance on Antifa and protestors are promised by police and Berkeley mayor. We will see if Berkeley can deliver and not cower under the face of violent communistic protestors. If Shapiro is again not allowed to speak, it will be a dark day for the First Amendment with potential consequences on a national level.

I hope for the sake of every free persons' right to speak, that he is allowed to talk.

I have been waiting for this day for a long time. I subscribe to the Daily Wire (Ben's podcast), and I've heard things that he doesn't allow people who don't subscribe to his content to hear. He said that he's been getting death threats ever since he announced this. He fully expects to speak, and all he's been saying is that he hopes Berkeley stands behind his right to free speech. Some of his callers have been taking jabs at him for instigating violence by doing this, but that it absurd. He is expressing his right to speak and he shouldn't allow people to "win" by using scare tactics. He doesn't want violence, but I suspect he knows there will be. And for anyone who hasn't heard him speak, or know his ideology, the guy is brilliant. Even true liberals know he has good intentions and isn't attempting to cause trouble. The guy is a bulldog! Ballsy doesn't even describe what he is doing tonight. He is a common sense guy and has wonderful morals. I hope everyone gets the chance to hear him tonight. I cannot wait! I'm seriously praying that this will spark a revolution and that antifa will be exposed for what they are, terrorists. Y'all know Shapiro is scared, but he's the perfect person to do this. I suggest y'all watch his debate with Cenk from The Young Turks at Politicon. He destroyed him with simple common sense.

Haven't seen that video yet! It seems he always delivers, even in very pressed situations. Just look at the vid when the huge deep voiced tranny grabs his neck and tells him if he repeats what he said the tranny will hospitalize him. He didn't get phased at all and kept all his stance the same and fired away counterarguments as usual. Very gifted I don't think I'd be able to keep my cool.

If the roles were flipped and BLM or even Antifa wanted to speak (peacefully) and conservatives denied them I would stand up for their right to express their first amendment right.
