I agree. They should fire these asswhipes for disrespecting our flag, and the heroes that fought for it. They claim they're standing up for black people being oppressed in our country, yet they're making millions off of blue collar white people. If the NFL doesn't get a handle on this, it will severely hurt them

I only liked the Sunday night games because they used to do nice flag ceremonies and really make a nice display of it. Sports or not, my house would come to a stand still and we would all stand and watch the anthem.
Pretty sickening that a 4 year old can concluded that "those guys aren't real Americans"

Just read an article on this. I don't see what they have in common protesting in this way.
Its not their place nor sports peoples place to be making decisions on what the public should be standing for etc.
We have had our own issues in Ireland but they never came on the field. We had a rugby game against england in a stadium were their army came in a shot the crowd and the teams showed respect for their national anthem and so did they for ours.

I'm a professional pocket pool (pull) player, if a hundred thousand people honored me by standing for the national anthem before one of my games, You can damn sure count on me to stand at attention! But seriously, as a former Marine, I wish they had a better way of drawing attention to an issue that I believe in as well, unequal freedoms in the country for which I would still give my life. Perhaps that's the rub? It isn't much of a sacrifice on their part to fail to show respect for others who made the ultimate sacrifice on their behalf? But again, what other avenue does a rich man (NFL player) have to try to support others whom he knows (as I know) deserve the freedom for which some of us have volunteered to sacrifice everything?
