Have a friend that moved there and said he got yelled at all the time for trying to pump his own gas.
I’m pretty sure New Jersey has similar laws.

I saw some stories online and people saying how hard it is to pump your own gas and they need someone else to help them, I get this is a jobs thing but really. You can't pump your own gas?

While it is a real easy thing if someone was never showed how would they know.We who have done it for years take it for granted being it's so simple but I watched my stepson keep hitting the help button on the pump one day and then realized I never showed him how I always did it.Lesson learned make your kid pump the gas. Make your kid learn to do everything. My dad always made stuff fun. Like Changing tired and oil and such so I would want to learn. Then when I knew how to do everything good, he made my ass do it all Originally Posted by songdog

Absolutely love my dad for this, can thank him enough for how he raised me. I was raised it a “fix it” family and that’s how i gained skills to get me a high paying trade job. Which led me to be able to pay for my undergrad, etc. Thanks dad
