    Slept for almost 24 hours.

I haven't had a easy day like this in years woke up the lady had my oatmeal pancakes and 5 whites ready.

Eat my vitamins drink my coffee went back in bed watch some gun videos took a Valium and slept the rest of the day I just woke up

I need it big time, as I've been getting 2 to 3 hours of sleep a day for the last well this is going to sound crazy for about the last 2 years

the tight feeling in my chest went away when I woke up I've been feeling this feeling for a long time I think I was on the verge of a stroke from lack of sleep and stress

I suggest to all of you guys if you can find it in your schedule take one day to just lay in bed and don't do shit don't do nothing let your inner fat kid out and just sit in bed smoke a cigarette if you smoke drink a shot of bourbon if you drink and hang out and sleep

I do roughly the same about every three weeks when things are hectic. The combo for me ( all prescribed, of course) is 1mg Xanax, 1/2 of a 10mg Flexeril, and 1/2 of a 50mg amitriptyline. That will put me down for a good 10.5 to 12 hours.
Although I am scripted those meds, I don't take them on a daily basis. I just stash them back with my apocalypse stash of spare BP meds, Lidocaine amps, antibiotics, med kit, etc.

Digging legalized pot. Settled on vaping, just have to sort through the hundreds of strains to find the perfect night time formula.

I seen a study not too long ago (yeah yeah , we all know saying "I seen a study" is like saying "I once seen an A-hole", they are everywhere and everyone has one) .. but anyhow, pot supposedly helps you unwind and fall asleep , but prevents you from reaching deeper states of sleep where recovery takes place (and therefore pot may not be beneficial to athletes as a sleep aide).

of course, even if that was true.. having some shots or whisky or some weed to unwind at night, nothing wrong with that

It does not affect everyone the same. I take one puff and I feel like absolute as bad as I can feel and go to sleep. I have tried it dozens of times. Never once got any sort of good feeling always bad.
Like a room spinning drunk feeling.

I am a go type. If I tried rec expectorants I would never stop. If it slows me down I feel like shit. If it makes me go fast I love it.

I dont know about the deep stages of sleep but I swear I am either allergic to it or just too psycotic to slow down.

Everyone around me smokes it constantly. None for me thanks.

That's kinda how I feel - I can't use weed for sleep. It either gives me anxiety when I'm ready for bed, or I wake up tired if I went to sleep smoked.

There was a sleep expert on Joe Rogan not to long ago and he said the same thing about pot and alcohol. I was like fuck, i usually have 1-2 beers before bed to unwind and fall asleep

Yes, cannabis does not let you reach REM sleep.

It has had my ass waking up every 45 minutes when I smoked are night.

Agree with what is said above. Both knock you out, but not for a long, deep sleep. I too am a 100 mph type of guy and need something to slow me down at night only. Plus when I do late afternoon, early evening workouts, I get further amped up & have some soreness (the CBC helps with that). Samson, agree with you & have experienced morning grogginess, so I never use it during the work week.

I am finally trying to go "all clean"

No booze, lite smoke(if any), no more Alprozalam for sleep -

This is the longest I have gone without drinking in two decades(seriously)

So far so good, but I am totally substituting with this cycle for help - my doses are quite high & workout hard rn = me lethargic, so I sleep A ok
