    Autobiography Books

I'm big on reading autobiographies (and to a lesser extent biographies).

Suggest an autobiography you've read, and explain why it's worth a read.

Here's who I've read so far:
Paddy Doherty, Frankie Boyle, Mike Tyson, Helen Keller, Anne Frank, Maya Angelou, Mahtma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, Radhanath Swami, Kathy Diosy, Lance Armstrong, and a handful of Christian pastors: Tony Anthony, Nicky Cruz
(I'll add more to this list as I remember them)

I was gonna go with the Navy Seal guy mentioned earlier in the thread but the impression I get is that it's as much an instructional book as it is a life story.

I might read this 1700's guy instead. How come you're so keenly interested in him?

Get the audio book. He does like a podcast with the co-author and you get a ton of behind the scenes back stories to some of the really messed up and interesting stories in the book.

It will also pump you the hell up to get your shit together.

I have it here with me, @Musclescience should I read it first, or watch the podcasts?

Watch the podcast. I don't really recall it having much to do with the book, but it'll give you his "voice" for when you read it.

Like I said, I know I'm getting the book for Christmas, so if it sucks, stay quiet until mid January
