    input appreciated

    After reading this thread http://forums.steroid.com/showthread.php?t=396340

I would like to propose a question that can hopefully get some good answers

Once someone has reached their natural potential, can the body hold onto gains made with the use of aas?

My line of reasoning is that if the body had the hormones to support the added muscle it would have. once someone reaches their natural potential, then finishes a cycle, they will return to the size of their natural potential. not immediately and some faster than others but eventually they will. Am I correct?

to a point. just because you reached your natural potential and could not create new muscle.. does not mean that if u used steroids to obtin the muscle that you will lose all gains afer the cycle! Once you have built the muscle, as long as diet is kept good and training is still kept up on a daily basis, there is no reason the majority of that muscle can nt be kept. I am not talking about trying to walk around 250-# natural and ripped but to a certain extent you can keep the gains you made

thanks for the reply. has anyone experienced this? I keep mostly all of my gains off cycle for a couple of months... even after my bw comes in as all good... but it seems that after about four months I am back to where I started. given I have some predisposed conditions that prevent weight gain I would like others opinions.

Is it possible that you just let it get a bit sloppy (diet or training or both) after 4 months off cycle? Not saying you are lazy or anything, I am just looking for an explanation for you. I don't think that the hormones have as much to do with supporting muscle as they do in building muscle.
