    Better for Cutting

    What is better for cutting fat, running long distance or doing hills and stairs?

    if you want to cut fat and retain muscle mass,

    strict diet and low intensity cardio.

    running will burn through muscle and fat.

    60-70% of your MHR (maximum heart rate)

    220-age X .65

    doesn't matter what it is, elliptical, bike, inclined walking treadmill, etc.
