    Tendon Stress

I have been just looking into something,

    my question is.

Is there much risk from tendons snapping by gaining strength too quickly, dose gear increase tendon strength.

    Thanks

Its a possibility, just have to be careful. But i dont know of any gear that strengthens tendons.

Yes, if you go up in weight to quickly you can end up with tendinitis, and then possibly a tear. I've been there and it sucks. You can take deca (not by itself) to alleviate the pain for a while but once you come off the pain comes back with a vengeance.

Yes its a very real concern. I will usually limit my weight increase a wk and just rep it out even if my strength jumps more like with anadrol I will not go as heavy as I can I will give a few wks.

I look at it this way if you have a tendon issue early in the cycle it will screw up the training for the entire cycle and pct and until you rest it and give it time to heal by then all gains are gone. So you just have to train smart.

No not really, your tendons are as strong as or stronger than your bones. If your going to snap a tendon its probably more a function of improper form or over use.

You dont think tendonitis can hinder your training during a cycle?

It can, but is that because someone cycles or because someone cycles and over trains and doesnt get proper rest between bouts of exercise? That is my point.

Ok gotcha, sometimes its from the sudden increase in strength too.

    tendon stress

i have not cycled yet but i've realized that explosive movements put the most stress on tendons. if you stick to the power lifts and gradually move up in weight as you gain strength you will be ok.

for example: in squats, as long as you start slowly and move up in weight as you gain your strenghth while allowing your legs and body to recover you shouldn't stress our your patellar and quad tendons.

when you're on gear its all about getting bigger and stronger. there is a certain way to do it and you're not gonna get there all in one day or a week. hit your weights but make sure your giving your body the time it needs to build after the training even if it is a shorter period of recovery time.

This is exactly what I was trying to say.
