POLL: What kind of Doctor do you guys see?

    Hey guys.

Noting that I'm from Australia but their should be consistency with the USA for this question. It will be interesting to get everyone to vote!

What sort of Doctor Do you guys see whom have the best appreciation for bodybuilding and AAS use? Not nessesarily to prescribe anything but who are willing to do the nessesary blood tests and help you monitor your sides and stuff like that.

Case in point: I went to my GP because I was curious to know my HGH levels and Cortisol levels and he advised me he simply had no reason to test for these. He sited that if I was in need of HGH I wouldnt be 6foot4. In addition to this he really didnt know anything about bodybuilding and hormones in general.

    Thanks guys!

im pretty sure your doc knows about hormones and the body..he didnt go to med school for 8 years for nothing. If i was him i wouldnt test your HGH levels either. Your 6'4 haha your levels are obviously fine.

Yeah you would also think a nutritionist that went to school would know how to get you contest ready?

Or why Orthopaedic Sports Medicine DRs ask me questions about training and nutrition and steroids!!

You would be suprised at what you think docs know and what they really do know!!

Yep really good point MS. .. and there are some Dr.s that graduated many years ago that now have very succesful pratices .. and they dont have the time to keep up with all the new and ever changing medical info .. we are now at a point where we understand how many things work ( there is alot of info that we now know , but didnt know 5-10 years ago )...

I'd like to note at this point that my GP was great with Testosterone. Good posts though!

Also I'd just like to say I feel sorry for you Americans. I get to speak to an endocrinologist, get full body MRIs, anything courtesy of the government. None of this insurance banter over here. I wish you guys had it better
