Welcome to the board mate!
Well, you would like to gain some good old fashioned lean body mass? The best way to do that is to seriously up your caloric intake and at the same time spend some serious time in the gym 5x a week. You can only gain weight by eating more calories than you expend. But when you up your calories, if you want to avoid much of the fat, then you need to make sure you eat cleanly. This is no easy task! 95% of all the newbs that come here really do not understand this process of "eating cleanly". Most think that by avoiding big macks and tequila and bacon and chocolate sundaes, then they are g2g. but when it comes to picking the right foods to eat, most are at a loss.
By ignoring this concept, you CAN take steroids and gain some weight. But
when you come off steroids, the weight will come off as well. (And by the way, you body will not be ready for AAS until your mid twenties when your hormonal system is fully mature). So in order to get serious, and put on some muscle, you need to do some learning on how to do it.
First of all, let's learn the basics about nutrition as it relates to bodybuilding.
Here is some general reading. Keep in mind, some of this is a "rule of thumb" type thing.

Next, let's learn about macro nutrients (protein/carbs/fat + calories) as they relate to the foods you eat:
http://forums.steroid.com/showthread...nutrient-Chart
Next, let's take a look at a concept known as total daily energy expenditure (TDEE). Otherwise known as "how many calories I burn in a day":
http://forums.steroid.com/showthread...gy-Expenditure
this will show you how to calculate your TDEE. this is important, as it will generally tell you how many "break even" calories you need per day just to maintian weight.
The next block of reading is designed to show you how to gain weight, especially if it is a difficult thing for you to do:

by now, you should have a general idea of what is going on with nutrition. let me throw one more thing your way. it is called the glycemic value of food. the higher the value, the quicker it converts to sugar. What we want when it comes to carbs, is for those carbs to convert to sugar as slowly as possible. this link will alllow you to look up the GV (glycemic value) of any food:
http://www.glycemicindex.com/
therefore, the lower the value, the more inclined we are to eat it. you can read up more on the theory of the GV and how it correlates to sugar later, as that is more of an intermediate concept.
Ideally, to gain weight, you should be 500, preferably 1000 calories above your TDEE. At 1000 cals/day above TDEE, you will pick up SOME body fat. this is unavoidable, but is also the quickest way to pick up muscle. Later on, you can learn to cut before summer next year so you can looked ripped. But for now, let's concentrate on bulking.
We're almost done, so bear with me.
the next thing you need to do is go here

and find someone else's diet and maybe use that as a template, so you can create your own. For now, just use 40/40/20 as your macro split. You can fine tune it later. Once you create your own diet plan, i need you to post it in the above section where you found the first diet, then create a new thread and post it. Make sure you include your macros per meal, and total macros per day. And include your tdee so we can see you are 1000 cals above your break point. There are many individuals there that spend alot of time helping others work with their diets and showing them how to improve it.
Here are some basic supplements you may consider investing in
Whey protein powder
multivitamin
creatine mono
fish oil
OK mate. I think this is more than you asked for. Get this done, and if you follow this plan, you could easily pack on 20 pounds of exrtra muscle by spring break next year.
Good luck!
