I think it goes hand in hand with anything the FDA can not regulate or tax they are going to do their best to find a way to say it's bad for you.

Whether it's paid off or not (probably is), doesn't affect me. I have never found L-Carnitine worth the overpriced dollar label that's slapped on to it. I've used it before and found no benefits at all from it, in terms of fat loss or otherwise. I used it once for a couple of months, not any more.

Not to mention it inhibits and destroys the activity of T3 at the cellular level when you take it (L-Carnitine inhibits both triiodothyronine (T3) and thyroxine (T4) entry into the cell nuclei). I discovered this the hard way (see this thread here http://forums.steroid.com/anabolic-l...l#.UWaUC6PD-70). Keep this in mind if you are using T3 and L-Carnitine simultaneously. It is for this reason that L-Carnitine is used in medicine as a hyperthyroidism treatment.

Austin there was a special here on the news - and then I just googled a few things by Columbia. By the way FDA hasnt said to stop ussing it - so I dont see how anyone paid anyone off. This was a study started by columbia U in NY.

I remember years ago it was hot dogs, eggs and some others. I pay no attention to these studies. But what you speak of, i have had no relevant difference from using as to when i don't. I put it up there w/all those silly supplements i used when i was younger believing the hype. Save your money and worries.

    Just my thoughts.

Well - hot dogs are bad for you - they have linked that to alot of shit. But for me - I always felt red meat had some bad stuff in it - due to stuff I know from my own health and family health. and I love anything Columbia does - because they were the ones that PROVED marijuana slowed cancer cells, ever after being threatened to lose their grants. I feel they are unbiased - or at least less biased then most! Oh and my gf is a research ass there so I guess Im baias

I would worry about cancer if i smoked. But good for you man. I'd rather die eating my foods than be without them. Then again, that's just me. I know i do a pretty good job of working the bs out of my system. And you probably do too.
