First Cycle
Hey guys,
Just joined up and have been reading a lot. Really impressed with the wealth of information here and it's nice to have a resource like this.

I've been lifting for about 9 years, seriously training for 4-5 years. I was very overweight, topping out around 270-280lbs. at my heaviest, dropped to 175-180lbs. at my lightest, through diet and exercise, nothing special. I spent a few years at 185# and getting a little stronger, nothing impressive. Over the last two years I have put on 15-20lbs. having me sit at just under 200lbs. as of right now. Most of the gained weight was muscle, as I'm pretty close in leanness as I was at 180lbs.
I have been training and eating hard for quite a while now and have researched and thought about cycling for a long time. I have read a lot here, other places, talked to friends, and done other research on various things AAS. I wanted to start off simple, see how the body reacts, and then evolve into more complicated cycles if and when the time comes.
My diet is locked up, has been for quite some time. Nutrition is something I place a huge emphasis on, and will continue to do so. Everything else important is pretty much squared away (diet, sleep, stress, training, etc.)
The cycle I am proposing would consist of:
Week 1 to 12: Test-e at 250 mg every 3.5 days
Week 1 to 12: hcg at 250 iu every 3.5 days (pinned different days than test, not sure if that matters)
Week 1 to 14: Adex at 0.25mg every other day
PCT:
clomid at 75/50/50/50
nolva at 40/20/20/20
Like I said, I want to run a test only cycle, keep it simple, see how I respond, then go from there. I wasn't quite sure on the Adex, if I should run 0.25mg every day or every other day. I have also been told 0.5mg every other day as well. The PCT I think is pretty standard, as with the dosing.
I'm looking forward to this, very much, as I feel that I've trained long enough, worked very hard to get to where I am, and have my ducks in a row to enable a successful cycle. I would really appreciate any thoughts, comments, or advice.

Wow, we should frame this. Finally a new member that got it right!
Solid first cycle, test only is what it should be and you got it right. Dose looks good to me, some start a little lower at 400mg per week for their first time, but I did 500mg per week of test e my first time and I enjoyed the results. Adex at .25 mg per day should be fine. I ran .5mg but I was always paranoid about gyno. Glad to see you did your research. As long as diet and training are in check. You may consider running HCG up until about 2 to 3 days before the start of PCT. The theory is that you should take you signal your leydig cells to start producing luteinizing hormone to aid in faster recovery however, I will leave that up to more experienced board members to offer input.

Congrats on the transformation thus far. I had very similar stats from my heaviest to my lowest. Cycle looks good, Goodluck with it and keep updating progress. Only thing I can think of is pre cycle blood work

I would simply suggest not to be locked in solid on the adex 0,25mg eod. Monitor via blood work and adjust if needed. My $0.02

Good luck with your cycle bro. Sounds like you have been working towards this for quite some time, I'm most impressed with how you took charge of your body and transformed it naturally..
I'm sure you will get good result from this train hard and harder during PCT to keep those gains.

Derekjpapa - I will probably log my cycle/training, thanks.
King6 II - I will probably run the 500 right off the bat, like you did. And, I have heard about running the hcg for a while after (~10 days after last pin), wasn't sure if that was the way to go or not. I'll dig into that information a little more and maybe some other folks here can shed some light on the optimal way to go with that.
CompetetiveEater - I'm definitely getting the blood work done, seems important. Just have to find the best way to go about that yet.
OdinsOtherSon - That sounds good, I'll probably dose the adex according to how things are going.
fit2bOld - Thanks buddy, it's been a long road. Looking forward to the future, and I'll be training hard as ever, both on and off.

Welcome. Glad to have you here. I am the same size as you and starting that exact cycle monday (except aromasin instead of adex). Looks like you have really done your reading and have the discipline to make your plan work. Congrats and good luck.

Looks like I might have to run test-c instead of test-e due to some supply issues. Anyway, nothing is for sure yet. Hoping that won't mess things up too much if I have to go that route.
