    clomid rebound duration

My doc put me on 25mg clomid/ED, along w/ some HCG , 200test per week, and 2mg arimidex per week. 1st week I felt great, 2nd week I energy was gone and hard time getting hard. After doing some research my best guess was my estrogen was way too low. So I signed up for the sensitive estrogen test at labcor (still waiting on results) but in the meantime, completely stopped clomid and cut arimidex in half. Immediately after I thought I felt my nipples getting sensitive, and after research think it may be due to clomid rebound effect. Its now a week later, and still have sensitive nips. I've only just started my 3rd week, so I've only been off clomid for 1 week.

Is this rebound effect, and if so, do I need to do something to mitigate the damage or since I was on for such a short time should I just wait it out. I know 1/2 life of clomid is 6 days, so after next week (2 weeks off clomid) shouldn't it mostly be out of my system??

    Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure exactly what your question is... So just be to clear, you cut clomid because your nips felt sensitive? 25mg is a pretty low dose for clomid. I've been running 50mg+ in my PCT and I can't say I've experienced any estrogenic side effects. I'm inclined to say that it's much more likely from your test. If I were you, I'd follow your doc's protocol and you guys can adjust dosages as needed. Everyone responds differently so your best bet is to get regular blood work done and share it with your doc

So, to clarify, I bottomed out on estrogen, and so I stopped the clomid and cut the arimidex in half. Immediately after nips got sensitive, been that way for a week now.

Question: Is this due to rebound effect, and if so, how long does the rebound effect of clomid last?

Why does you doctor have you on clomid and 200mg of test?

    That seems counterproductive.

2mg/week of dex is likely way too much for that much test.

It takes me about 4 weeks to use that much dex when on 3 times the amount of test.

Nipple sensitivity can happen anytime hormones are in flux.

Your nipple sensitivity should reside in about two weeks.

You should really pull some labs because if you're taking 200mg of test and 1mg of dex it's possible your e2 is still on the low side.

When you say nipple sensitivity can happen anytime hormones are in flux, does that mean that I could be experiencing nipple sensitivity that is not a symptom/early sign of gyno?

Another doctor not understanding hormones. Shocking as usual.

    Yes, that is very likely.

I think you are missing the bigger picture here, gyno should not be your biggest worry.

Your is seems as though your doctor has little knowledge of how to proper administer TRT.

The dose of test you are taking is too much for a majority of the population to maintain long term.

You will probably have blood count and cholesterol issues.

Plus I think you are still taking too much dex and should be using hcg .

Have a look at other members TRT procedures.

    Share your protocol..... for TRT
