sweet potatoes vs whole wheat anything

Ive been reading that sweet potatoes are the king essentials for us when it comes to diet. But what about whole wheat bread, pasta and rice??

For me, its way easier to get a loaf of ww bread, cook a few tky burgers, shot of mustard and Im good togo. I also have some ww pasta in my tky chili during the day. As for brown rice, thats only if my wife is getting creative in the kitchen.

Now, in a few days Ill be starting pct from spawn cycle and I want to switch gears and drop some bf. Ill have to adjust my calorie intake and will be using ww bread because it works with my macros.

Ill post up my new diet in a few days....

    Any suggestions???

bread digests ALOT faster then a starchy complex carb source like sweet potato..

    here, ill make it practical..

put a ww bread slice in water.. what does it do?? it gets soggy and breaks down very very easily.. how do you think that's gonna react in your gi tract?

where as sweet potato, thx to it's starchiness, would take longer..

the faster something digests, the better the chances of it causing an insulin spike..

no brother, dinner @ 7pm. I use casein right before bed.

I just found a can of yams and for 2/3 cup it contains :

    190 cals
    45 carb
    3 fiber
    21 sugar
less than 1 g of pro

Its Bruce's Yams - cut sweet potatoes in syrup. I dont remember any other brand that my store carries but whats with the sugar content? I cant eat these dude!!!!

I guess that Ill have to buy them fresh and mash them up myself.....

whole wheat bread is no good....wheat germ and unprocessed wheat products are AMAZING sources of complex carbs, fiber, and vitamins/minerals...when wheat is processed for breads and pastas, as much as 40% of the germ and bran is eliminated...

cutting, bulking, it doesn't matter for me, I eat unprocessed wheat with great results
